  Arrival in Entebbe and Flight to Bwindi

  After your early arrival in Entebbe, you’ll receive a warm welcome to Uganda. Shortly afterwards, you’ll take a short domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Even from the plane, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of Uganda’s rolling green hills. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to your lodge, where you can rest or take a stroll through the tropical surroundings. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

  Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

  Today is the highlight of your journey: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After a briefing, you’ll set off with an experienced ranger in search of one of the gorilla families. The trek can be steep and demanding, but the encounter with these gentle giants is worth every effort. You’ll have ample time to observe the gorillas before returning to the lodge for an afternoon at leisure.

  Gorilla Trekking and Culture

  Early in the morning, you’ll embark on another gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, possibly visiting a different family this time. After this impressive encounter, you’ll return to the lodge. In the afternoon, you’ll visit a nearby village to learn more about the culture and daily life of the local communities – a fascinating glimpse into regional traditions.

  Return Flight to Entebbe

  After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or a stroll along Lake Victoria before catching your international flight home.
