    Today you’ll embark on an exciting boat trip on the vast Lake Victoria. The goal is to spot the rare shoebill stork. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure in Entebbe.

    Journey to Lake Mburo National Park

    Today, your journey through Uganda begins. Along the way, you’ll visit small markets and a local drum market. You’ll enjoy lunch en route. In the afternoon, you’ll reach Lake Mburo National Park, known for zebras, antelopes, and hippos.

    Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park and Travel Onward

    Early this morning, you’ll head out on a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Afterwards, you’ll drive through beautiful mountain scenery to the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most stunning lakes, home to over 200 bird species.

    A day to slow down! Enjoy the tranquility of the lake, take a short boat trip among the many islands, or watch the numerous bird species for which the lake is famous.

    Journey to Bwindi National Park

    Today, you’ll travel onward into the dense rainforest of Bwindi National Park. The afternoon is free for you to relax or, if you wish, join an optional village tour.

    Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

    One of the highlights of your trip: gorilla trekking! In small groups departing from your lodge, you’ll hike through the rainforest to find the majestic mountain gorillas.

    Bwindi National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast, you’ll continue your journey with your private guide into the expansive savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a boat trip or a bush walk.

    Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Early in the morning, you’ll set off once again on safari. You’ll explore the park in search of lions, elephants, and many other animals. In the afternoon, you have time at leisure or can choose to join another game drive.

    Heading to the Rwenzori Mountains

    With your private guide, you’ll leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive toward the impressive Rwenzori Mountains. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fantastic views of the snow-capped peaks of the “Mountains of the Moon.” After lunch with panoramic views, the journey continues to the lush region around Fort Portal.

    Today, you’ll be right in the middle of the action as wild chimpanzees start their day in Kibale Forest. You’ll accompany a ranger and observe the animals for several hours in their natural habitat – an unforgettable adventure offering fascinating insights into the lives of these intelligent primates.

    Your journey continues through green tea plantations and stunning landscapes toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop at local markets and scenic viewpoints for photos.

    Safari and Nile Boat Trip in Murchison Falls National Park

    You’ll set out on a game drive in the northern part of the park, known for Rothschild’s giraffes, elephants, and numerous antelope species. In the afternoon, you’ll experience a boat trip on the Nile all the way to the mighty Murchison Falls.

    Full-Day Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

    Early in the morning, you’ll depart for an extended game drive in the southern part of the park. You’ll traverse open savannahs and acacia woodlands, spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and various antelope species. After a picnic in the wild, you’ll continue exploring other routes along the Nile in the afternoon.

    Rhino Sanctuary and Return

    On your way back to Entebbe, you’ll visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you can track these impressive rhinos on foot. After this final highlight, you’ll drive back to Entebbe and be taken to the airport or your hotel for your onward journey.
